If you need to share a file that is downloaded on your computer, click the File button also above the text box in your chat window. You will simply hit Enter to send that image to everyone in the channel. Once you are satisfied you will click the Capture button and the image will paste into the text box of your chat. Once you click it you will be able to drag your cursor to select the part of your screen you would like to capture, and you can even add annotations before the image is copied. This button can be found right above the text box in your chat or channel window. You can quickly capture your entire screen or just a portion of it with the screenshot tool. This will give that person a notification letting them know they were individually mentioned in that particular chat.
To do this you will first type the symbol into the text box, then select the name of the person you would like to mention.
To get a particular person’s attention you can mention them in the chat. Within a chat or channel you will have the ability to add reactions to what someone has said, reply to their specific message to create a thread, or even “Star” their message to save it or so you can jump back to that part of the conversation when needed.
